Kudos Michelle Malkin, you were skeptical from the beginning…

Ashley Todd, a 20 year old college Republican volunteer for the McCain-Palin campaign, got robbed for sixty bucks at the ATM!!  Then the poor thing got maimed after the robber noticed a McCain bumper sticker on her car and carved a “B” on her face with his knife.  Holy Crap!

According to WTAE’s news exchange partners at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, was using an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her and put a knife to her throat.

 

Police spokeswoman Diane Richard said the robber took $60 from Todd, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.

What was the “B” supposed to stand for…bitch ?  Barack ?    

The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.

Wonder if he signed up for his voter’s registration via ACORN too?  Vote early, vote often… 

 The Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.”

 

The McCain-Palin campaign also released a statement saying, “The McCain campaign is aware of the incident involving one of its volunteers. Out of respect, the campaign won’t be commenting. The campaign also confirms that Senator McCain and Governor Palin have both spoken to the woman.”

What is wrong with the “B”?  Could it simply be that the picture was inserted backwards or as mirror image by mistake?  Who the heck knows.

She goes off on Prof. Alan Singer, one of the 3200 petition signers in support of William Ayers.  Add Ward Churchill to that list, of course.

More than 3,200 supporters — including former University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill — have signed a petition protesting what they call the “demonization of Professor William Ayers.”

Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s ties to Ayers have been questioned during the presidential campaign by critics who call the professor a “domestic terrorist.” Obama’s Republican opponent, John McCain, conducted a robo-phone call campaign in Colorado and several other states, calling into question Obama’s connection with Ayers.

The phone call campaign against Ayers began at the same time McCain told voters he wasn’t concerned with “some washed up terrorist,” during the last presidential debate.

The petition, circulated online, asserts that Ayers’ violent actions as the co-founder of the Weather Underground were just “history.” The petition calls Ayers a well-respected, nationally-known figure in the education world. It also said that critics who call Ayers an “unrepentant terrorist” and “lunatic leftist” are “part of a pattern of ‘exposes’ and assaults designed to intimidate free thinking and stifle critical dialogue.”

Nice eh?

 Now that Fannie Mae is at the epicenter of a financial meltdown that threatens the U.S. economy, some are raising new questions about Frank’s relationship with Herb Moses, who was Fannie’s assistant director for product initiatives. Moses worked at the government-sponsored enterprise from 1991 to 1998, while Frank was on the House Banking Committee, which had jurisdiction over Fannie.

“C’mon, he writes housing and banking laws and his boyfriend is a top exec at a firm that stands to gain from those laws?” the aide told FOX News. “No media ever takes note? Imagine what would happen if Frank’s political affiliation was R instead of D? Imagine what the media would say if [GOP former] Chairman [Mike] Oxley’s wife or [GOP presidential nominee John] McCain’s wife was a top exec at Fannie for a decade while they wrote the nation’s housing and banking laws.”

Frank’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Although Frank now blames Republicans for the failure of Fannie and Freddie, he spent years blocking GOP lawmakers from imposing tougher regulations on the mortgage giants. In 1991, the year Moses was hired by Fannie, the Boston Globe reported that Frank pushed the agency to loosen regulations on mortgages for two- and three-family homes, even though they were defaulting at twice and five times the rate of single homes, respectively.

This was the largest re-enlistment ceremony ever held in military history. The ceremony was held on the 4th of July, 2008 at Al Faw Palace, Baghdad, Iraq . General David Petraeus officiated. This amazing story was ignored by the ‘mainstream’ media.

For those who have been in the Al Faw Palace, you’ll have a better appreciation of the number of people crammed around the rotunda supporting the re-enlisting soldiers.

American men and women volunteering to stay longer in Iraq , so that when we leave, the new democracy will have a chance of surviving, is the exact opposite of what the media wants you to think about Iraq .  If only a bomb had killed 5 civilians in a marketplace – now that’s the kind of news the media is eager to tell you about.

A pizzeria in Chicago donated 2000 pizzas that were made and shipped to Baghdad , and were delivered on the 4th.

The media did report that 2000 pizzas were sent to Iraq on July 4th…  The only part they left out of the report was the event for which the pizzas were sent.

I can’t help but wonder…

What would the opinion of Americans be if they weren’t getting such obviously biased ‘news?’
