Most of us already know that there’s something whacky about San Fran…but now 8 illegals crack dealers are on the lose after city officials tried to shield them from federal authorities?? WTF? Are you kidding me?
An effort by San Francisco to shield eight young Honduran crack dealers from federal immigration officials backfired when the youths escaped from Southern California group homes within days of their arrival, officials said Monday.
The walkaways are the latest in a string of embarrassments for city officials who are protecting illegal-immigrant drug dealers from federal authorities
and possible deportation because of San Francisco’s 1989 declaration that the city is a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants.
Until recently, San Francisco flew juvenile illegal immigrants convicted of drug crimes to their home countries rather than cooperate with the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, a practice that drew national attention when The Chronicle reported it Sunday.
When federal law enforcement authorities demanded that San Francisco halt the flights and began a criminal investigation, the city decided to house some of the dealers in long-term youth rehabilitation centers. Some of those centers are run by a nonprofitcompany called Silverlake Youth Services in mountain towns southeast of San Bernardino.
Who the hell were paying for the flights or rehabilitating illegals? oh, ok…SF taxpayers!! geesh! 
Eight Honduran juveniles who had been convicted of dealing drugs in San Francisco were sent within the past few weeks to the company’s group homes, where one month’s placement costs $7,000 per youth – an expense borne by San Francisco taxpayers.
Within 10 days of being sent to the unlocked group homes, however, all eight youths ran away, said Bill Siffermann, head of juvenile probation in San Francisco. He said his agency has issued arrest warrants for them.
Siffermann said the city has stopped sending juvenile offenders to Silverlake because of the escapes. “We have now eliminated that as a prospect,” he said, adding that San Francisco is trying to come up with an approach for handling the juveniles that does not involve giving them to federal immigration authorities.
This isn’t even about SF declared itself to being a “sanctuary” city…that’s a separate issue altogether! Unless of course, sanctuary city not only harbours illegals, but FELON illegals as well! Ridiculous!! These “city officials” should be tried for aiding and abetting felons!! They are drug dealing criminals, for God sake!! Guess they care more about illegal felons than the safety of it’s citizens.
Wonder if any of the POTUS candidates will address this. C’mon Obama, McCain!! Do something!!!

Hey, Walter, priests tell Catholics to vote Democrat? Where the heck are you getting that from? Democrats are almost totally pro-choice. Catholics are almost totally pro-life. Most Catholics VOTE REPUBLICAN. This is not a religious issue. Give me a break. Most hispanics actually vote democrat unless you are talking about Cubans and that is a whole other story.

Now on the issue of abortion, are you saying that Catholics don’t get abortions, i do like how you said that Catholics are almost pro-life (almost) wow! Besides i’m not even talking about abortion i’m talking about illegal immigration. Senator Ted Kennedy is a Catholic and he supports abortion and he supports illegal immigration. Read those books. I’m not saying Catholics don’t vote Republican I’m saying they are told or influenced to vote Democrat more. Read those books. Democrats tend to be more Catholic then they are Christians ( and no, Christians and Catholics are not the same) and yes there is “Christians” that do support abortion and illegal immigration nobody’s perfect. You bet it’s a religious issue and hispanics don’t always vote Republican, Bush vs. Gore and Bush vs. Kerry, Bush got less hispanic votes then both. And hispanics that come from other countries are always at least 70% Catholic (i.e. Mexico,El Salvador,Guatemala,Honduras,Brazil,Argentina,Italy,Ireland,Philipines,Colombia,France,Germany,Spain etc) Need I say more. And lastly you’ll notice i didn’t use the word (hispanic )although i did use hispanic nations in my first entry a week ago, i did finish with etc. And one more read those books. See ya.
